The sonata is short, festive and full of noble character, and it is one of the most popular Baroque works for trumpet and piccolo trumpet.
The work has three movements: a bright opening, a short expressive slow movement and a lively finale. The play-along helps you practise the style, the tempos and the clarity needed in Baroque music.
Practice tips
- Use a bright, noble sound without heavy vibrato.
- Keep the articulation light and clear.
