Written in 1762, the concerto has two movements – a lyrical Adagio and a lively Allegro moderato – and is famous for its very high clarino writing, today usually played on piccolo trumpet.
It is a popular piece for auditions and Baroque programmes. The accompaniment helps you practise the tempo, the ornaments and the endurance needed in the high register. PDF sheet music is available.
